Hey there! I’m Lia Jay
A lifestyle family photographer based in Bergen County, New Jersey.
Once upon a time in New York City, my love affair with photography began when my dad gifted me a camera on my 12th birthday.
Fast forward to today, and photography is my jam, especially when combined with connecting with people – that's my happy place. As a camera-wielding sociologist, I thrive on capturing genuine moments, true emotions, and you as you are.
I'm all about decoding family dynamics, that indescribable love parents have for their little ones—the kind of love that might seem irrational, but we all have for our little troublemakers.
My mission? To freeze-frame those everyday feels, the ones that resonate with you. As a mom myself, I've discovered it's the little things—the contagious laughter of my daughter, the serious debates between my boys, the goofy, the silly, and yes, even the tears. It's what defines you and your unique family story.
In essence, it's pretty straightforward. A session with me is quality time where parents can demand hugs, and everyone, kids and parents alike, gets to bust a move. It's the quality time your kiddos crave and deserve, topped with forevermore pictures of these precious moments.
